机械人挥舞机械臂，组装精密的工件，动作整齐划一，相信这是很多人对智能工厂的印象。而自动化、数码化的好处就是能大幅提高生産效率，把一些繁琐和危险的工作交给机械人完成，降低工业意外。
全球重工行业获认证的“灯塔工厂”仅有2座，由中国企业“三一重工”悉数包揽。其中三一重工长沙18号工厂，被称为“最聪明的厂房”，到底如何有多“聪明”？
三一集团董事、执行总裁兼总工程师易小刚给出的定义是：“凡是计算机（计算机）能做的事，决不允许人来做。”
据介绍，三一重工长沙18号工厂整体自动化率达到76%。在装配中心，大到72米长的臂架，小到2mm的螺丝等，全部由机械人自动化装配完成。智能物流系统，可实现逾10万种不同类型零件的自动搬运和上下料，准时交货率高达99.2%。
高度自动化运作的背后，需要强大的数据平台和物联网系统提供支撑。据悉，遍布18号工厂的1540个传感器和200台全联网机械人每天能产生超过30TB的大数据，相当于一座20万人口的县城一天产生的手机网络数据。
智能制造带来的效益提升也非常明显。与改造前相比，长沙18号工厂的产线工人人数减少接近三分之二，产能却翻了一倍，原来每月生产400多台设备提升至每月产能突破900台。很多一线工人只用在屏幕上指挥，就有分拣、焊接、自动导航搬运车（AGV）等机械人来包揽大部分的脏活、累活、重活。

According to reports, the overall automation rate of SANY Changsha No. 18 factory reached 76%. In the assembly center, as large as 72 meters long boom. As small as 2mm screws, etc., are all automatically assembled by robots. Intelligent logistics system can realize the automatic handling and loading and unloading of more than 100,000 different types of parts. And the on-time delivery rate is as high as 99.2%.
Behind the highly automated operation, a strong data platform and Internet of Things system are needed to provide support. It is reported that 1,540 sensors and 200 fully networked robots all over the factory 18 can generate more than 30TB of big data per day, equivalent to the mobile phone network data generated by a county town of 200,000 people in a day.
The benefits brought by intelligent manufacturing are also very obvious. Compared with before the transformation, the number of production line workers in Changsha No. 18 factory has been reduced by nearly two-thirds, but the production capacity has doubled, and the original monthly production capacity of more than 400 equipment has been increased to more than 900 units per month. Many front-line workers only use the screen to command. There are sorting, welding, automatic navigation truck (AGV) and other robots to do most of the dirty work, hard work, heavy work.
