所幸的是，现代科学与信息技术为解决古籍保护与利用间的矛盾提供了可行路径。利用扫描、微缩等技术手段，让古籍的原始面貌以数字化的形式完整清晰地保留下来，有效避免了人为移动或翻阅过程中可能造成的损伤，大大方便了阅览研究。在此基础上，又可借助AI技术，对古籍进行规模化、系统化的字符识别和录入，搭建古籍全文数据库以及各类知识库，实现全文检索、文本比对、自动标点、数据分析等功能。这些技术应用在提高整理研究效率的同时，还拓宽了相关人文领域的研究视野，丰富了古籍挖掘利用的方式手段。
