MES英文全称：Manufacturing Execution System即制造执行系统，也叫SFC(Shop Floor Control)系统。从字面上看就知道，MES系统是和制造相关的系统，是用来管理生产活动的系统。

二、MES和ERP系统的应用面有什么不同？
1 .MES的应用面
MES应用于生产制造过程中，也就是在产品生产环节中，通过给每个产品一个独立的身份—条码来进行管理。
产品在经过预先设立的扫描管控点时，必须扫描产品条码过站，如果前一工站没有进行扫描，产品流到后一工站是无法扫描过站的。
