企业的信息部门被玩坏了

在企业数字化转型建设过程中,信息部门的作用自然不言而喻,但不同的企业不同的管理模式,对数字化的认知不同,也造就了信息部门在企业中的地位与影响力千差万别,数字化的成果各有不同,总体说来在大部分的传统企业中信息部门在企业中更多的工作内容是服务,随着数字化转型建设的深入,信息部门或许会承担部分的管理职能,于是在这种情况下信息部门总算到了扬眉吐气的时候,第一件事就是给部门取个所谓“高大上”的名字,所以今天老杨要说的内容就源自于信息部门“改名字”的场景:

近日老杨在一数字化群中看到某企业的CIO发起一个话题,大概意思是信息部门受到了高层领导的重视,其工作职能变动了,想给部门起一个更有“逼格”的名字,因群内都是熟知的朋友,于是各种调侃随之而来:

“挨踢背锅部”

“挨踢能手部”

“屌丝业务部”

“擦屁股中心”

“专治宕机部”

……………..

虽然大家讲的都是玩笑,但字里行间无不体现着大部分传统企业信息部门工作的艰辛与无奈,由于企业的数字化转型建设涉及软件、硬件、网络、数据等众多环节,而每个环节均需要或多或少的投入,于是在大部分企业领导眼里认为数字化只会投入,信息部门是花钱的成本投入部门,所以在大部分传统企业内都存在数字化投入低、缺乏长期投入这一严重的问题,进而又影响到数字化的成果展现,又造成数字化价值体现难这一死结,最后领导可能就把数字化转型失败的原因归咎于信息部门,质疑其能力问题,其实在任何企业数字化都要面临这一问题,如果非要再说几个原因的话,老杨只好又再说一次:

第一,企业对数字化转型这件事缺乏最基本的了解,大都是裹挟于数字化的舆论浪潮之中,盲目做数字化建设; 数字化转型网(www.szhzxw.cn)

第二,企业高层领导对数字化转型这件事的认知还停留于“软件买卖”这个层面,停留于让技术实现的认知,而大部分领导又存在不愿深入、也不想深入了解数字化的现象;

第三,企业一把手缺乏数字化转型的魄力,重点放在“建”,少了对“转”的关注与支持;

所以当前大部分传统企业做数字化转型就是在这种缺管理少方法的模式下进行,对于“建设”的技术环节投入了太多的关注,比如企业的流程管理,大部分传统企业领导认为就是简单的流程搬家,纸质变线上,结果由于缺乏流程优化与过程管理导致大量流程报错,极大影响了企业正常工作的开展,部分领导此时认为数字化还不如传统纸质效率高,其实在此情况下技术就背了企业管理的锅,所以信息部门叫“背锅部”也实至名归。

还比如在数字化转型建设过程中,大部分传统企业总是处于信息部门孤军奋战的状态,在需求调研过程中总是被业务部门“踢来踢去”,求助领导也是被“打太极”,所以信息部门叫“挨踢部”也并非空穴来风。

在部分的传统企业由于缺乏数字化的统一规划、管控能力,造成的结果就是数字化建设处于无序、野蛮生长的状态,最常见的现象就是哪个部门在企业有话语权就可以绕开信息部门随意进行相关系统的引进与建设工作,而这样做的后果就是由于业务部门缺乏相关数字化项目管理能力而导致项目烂尾,这个时候突然想到要信息部门来收拾残局,原因很简答信息部门是专业的,所以“擦屁股中心”听起来不雅,但也符合企业的数字化转型建设的真实现状。 数字化转型网(www.szhzxw.cn)

以上这些问题都是在大部分传统企业里真实存在的,所以信息部门以此来调侃自身的工作也是充满着无奈与辛酸,数字化转型听起来高大上,其实老杨认为它就是一个被玩坏的名词而已,企业管理不改革、商业模式不改进,做任何所谓的转型都是徒劳的。

无独有偶,老杨又在另一个甲方数字化群里看到一些CIO们在调侃信息部门的工作内容,将部分内容总结如下:

电梯坏了,电话竟然打到了信息部门,因为员工认为都是带电的,信息部门应该负责维护;

走廊灯泡坏,空调坏了,也要喊信息部门前来维修,因为带“电”;

领导办公室马桶坏了,竟然喊信息部门来维修,给出的理由是领导的马桶是智能的;

还有一信息部门负责人说这算啥,我之前还兼管过公司的食堂;

看到这些内容大家是不是哈哈一笑的同时又感觉到无奈、苦逼、心酸,在大部分传统企业内信息部门的大部分工作内容就是服务,除了日常的IT服务还有一些行政日常事务,造成信息部门工作内容过于杂而不聚焦,但矛盾的是过度聚焦于技术,由于缺乏数字化建设项目又让领导认为信息部门工作不饱和,其实这与企业在数字化转型这件事上的认知不无关系:

企业缺乏数字化组织管理能力,造成的结果就是数字化缺乏统筹规划能力,各部门各行其道胡乱建设;

缺乏数字化的运营管理能力,造成的结果就是数字化落地难、应用难;

而最基本的认知能力的缺乏,造成的结果可能就是对信息部门缺乏一个专业的定位、价值的衡量标准;

所以部分企业信息部门每天疲于应付琐碎的日常事务也属正常。
