Huizhou architecture combines the spirit of Huizhou mountains and rivers, integrates the essence of traditional customs and culture, has a unique style, rigorous structure and exquisite carving. Whether it is the planning of villages and towns, the comprehensive application of plane and space treatment and architectural carving art, it fully reflects the distinct local characteristics. Especially the residential houses, ancestral halls and archways are the most typical, known as the three wonders of Huizhou ancient architecture, valued and admired by the Chinese and foreign architectural circles.
