埃森哲发布《2023中国企业数字化转型指数》

埃森哲连续第六年与国家工业信息安全发展研究中心(工信部电子第一研究所)合作,持续追踪中国企业数字化转型进程,并于今日发布最新一期指数报告。本期研究发现,挤压式转型和行业颠覆程度不断加剧,只有少部分中国企业能够持续、多维度地深化转型战略,为下一阶段的转型和增长做好准备。

一、识变:跨越数字化转型的激流

近年来,全球宏观环境中的不确定性和复杂程度在不断增加。埃森哲全球颠覆指数显示,2017年至2022年间,全球颠覆性指数从30分增至89分,这意味着全球不确定性在过去五年内飙升了两倍,而2011年至2016年间,其上升幅度仅为4%。企业正处于变局的激流之中。消费者、气候变化和技术这三项因素,正推动全球商业环境发生深刻转变。

针对全新的变化和挑战,我们在今年研究中对指数框架和指标进行了升级,更全面地反映在技术变革、消费者需求变化和气候变化等多重影响下中国企业的数字化转型和重塑进程。最新的研究框架涵盖了五大关键维度:开创竞争新前沿、全局性拉通、打造数字核心、融入可持续、释放人才力量。

研究显示,在关键数字化能力上,中国企业的表现并不均衡。例如,中国企业在优化运营领域精耕细作,得分为58分(以未来理想企业的满分100分计),而在打造数字核心、释放人才力量等指标上的得分偏低(低于40分)。数字化转型网www.szhzxw.cn

同时,大部分中国企业仍只关注单一的业务转型,尚未认识到企业重塑是一个持续、动态的过程:只有22%的受访中国企业全面考量转型部署,不到三成(28%)的企业认可数字化转型需要持续进化。报告指出,企业需要在组织上下形成转型合力,方能应对不确定性,达成新的增长,引领全方位价值。

三、求变:五大行动推进企业全面重塑

1. 敢为人先,重新定义竞争新前沿

“重塑者”将重塑战略覆盖到企业全业务和各职能,持续创新,推动所在行业不断进步。目前,只有少数中国企业制定了新的行业目标(14%),或只将目标局限于当前市场和竞争者(66%)。

2. 全局视角,建设全企业协同

企业需纵观全局,集人员、流程和数据之力,提升决策效率和响应,实现整体转型的多维价值。研究显示,有20%的中国企业开始持续强化跨部门或跨职能的能力建设,而仍有37%的中国企业在进行单一职能部门的数字化和自动化。

3. 数字核心,实现业务敏捷与技术韧性

企业应当以云为先构建基础设施,同时搭建大语言模型(LLM)所需的现代化数据平台,实现可扩展的技术平台和应用,以及有效应对安全风险。未来1-2年,有37%的企业计划投资云技术,36%的企业希望投资安全领域。

Accenture announces 2023 Digital Transformation Index for Chinese Enterprises

For the sixth consecutive year, Accenture has partnered with the National Center for Industrial Information Security Development and Research (the First Institute of Electronics of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) to continue tracking the digital transformation progress of Chinese enterprises, and today released the latest edition of the index. This study found that the degree of squeeze transformation and industry disruption is increasing, and only a small number of Chinese enterprises can continue to deepen their transformation strategies in a multi-dimensional way to prepare for the next stage of transformation and growth.

Understanding change: Crossing the rapids of digital transformation

In recent years, uncertainty and complexity in the global macro environment have been increasing. Accenture’s Global Disruption Index shows that between 2017 and 2022, the global Disruption Index increased from 30 points to 89 points, meaning that global uncertainty has soared threefold in the past five years, compared to a rise of only 4% between 2011 and 2016. Response: create a new pattern

Where there are challenges, there are opportunities. Accenture found that only 2% of companies surveyed are creating new frontiers of competition by reshaping their businesses and functions through digital core competencies, becoming “reinnovators” on the path to change. At the same time, technology is playing an increasingly important role in the reshaping, with 46 percent of Chinese companies surveyed saying they will increase investment in AI and automation.

In response to new changes and challenges, we have upgraded the index framework and indicators in this year’s study to more comprehensively reflect the process of digital transformation and reshaping of Chinese enterprises under the multiple impacts of technological change, changing consumer demand and climate change. The latest research framework covers five key dimensions: creating a new frontier of competition, global connectivity, building a digital core, integrating sustainability, and unleashing talent.

The study shows that Chinese companies’ performance is uneven when it comes to key digital capabilities.

For example, Chinese enterprises in the field of optimizing operations intensive cultivation, score 58 points (on a scale of 100 points for future ideal enterprises), but in the building of digital core, unleash the power of talent and other indicators scored low (less than 40 points).

At the same time, the majority of Chinese enterprises are still focused on a single business transformation, and have not yet recognized that corporate reinvention is a continuous and dynamic process: only 22% of Chinese enterprises surveyed fully consider transformation deployment. From this year’s survey, we see that reinnovators are innovating at scale in their organizations, breaking through best practices in their industries, and implementing key initiatives for win-win outcomes in society. Change: Five major actions to promote the comprehensive reshaping of enterprises

Under the new competitive landscape, enterprises need to face challenges, define new frontiers, and embrace comprehensive reshaping. Accenture recommends five areas for businesses to take action to continue and comprehensively transform and start the path to reinvention:

1. Dare to be the first to redefine the new frontier of competition

“Remaker” will reshape the strategy to cover the whole business and all functions of the enterprise, continue to innovate, and promote the continuous progress of the industry.
