在加入戴尔之前，黄博士曾先后担任施耐德电气旗下美国电力转换公司（APC）大中华区总裁、美国泰乐通讯公司中国区总裁。此前，他在北电网络工作了17年，负责美国和中国的业务运营。黄博士是中国外商投资企业协会副会长，也是中国美国商会董事会成员。
黄陈宏博士拥有美国德克萨斯州农工大学电子工程博士学位，以及复旦大学学士和硕士学位。他曾发表多篇学术论文，同时也是13项专利的发明人或共同发明人。
原 SAP 大中华区总裁纪秉盟（Mark Gibbs）即将卸任。自2013年开始，在他的带领下，大中华区成为 SAP 独立大区，并发展成为 SAP 增长最快的区域之一。纪秉盟将继续以顾问身份，帮助 SAP 领导层和黄陈宏博士顺利过渡，直至2021年9月底。

SAP today announced the appointment of Dr. Chen Hong Huang as SAP’s Global Executive Vice President and President of Greater China. He will have overall responsibility for SAP’s Greater China operations. And he lead efforts including budget development, forecast management, talent development, partner development, sales, marketing and operations, government affairs, and strategic customer relations. Dr Huang will take up his new post on 1 August and will be based in Beijing.
Prior to joining SAP, Dr. Huang served as Chairman and President of Dell Technologies Group Greater China since 2014.
He strongly advocated and promoted the “in China, for China” strategy. During his tenure at Dell. He masterminded several major strategic initiatives, including industry automation, ecosystem development, product and solution localization, and deployment of new market development strategies.
Scott Russell, SAP executive board member and head of Global customer success. He said: “We have built a strong foundation in Greater China and I am confident that under Hong Chen’s leadership. SAP will grow even stronger and create even more opportunities for our customers, partners and employees.”

Prior to joining Dell, Dr. Huang served as President of Schneider Electric’s American Power Conversion Company (APC) in Greater China and President of Taylor Communications in China.
Prior to that, he spent 17 years at Nortel Networks. Where he was responsible for business operations in the United States and China. Dr. Huang is Vice President of the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment. And a member of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in China.
Dr. Chen Hong Huang holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Fudan University. He has published several academic papers and is an inventor or co-inventor on 13 patents.
Mark Gibbs, the former head of SAP China, is stepping down. Since 2013, under his leadership, Greater China has become an independent region of SAP and developed into one of SAP’s fastest growing regions. Ji Bingmeng will continue in an advisory capacity to help smooth the transition of SAP leadership and Dr. Huang Chenhong until the end of September 2021.
SAP has always regarded Greater China as an important global market. And SAP’s executive Board will continue to promote strategic investment and development in the region.
